GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS FOR UNDERGRADUATE DEGREES
ACCREDITATION AND STATE LICENSING Currently, we are not accredited. We are arranging to seek accreditation through the Association for Biblical Higher Education (formerly AABC). We do have approval for our courses from the Association of Christian Schools International. Rocky Mountain Bible College and Seminary is approved by the Colorado State Approving Agency for Veteran's Benefits. We are licensed by the State of Colorado to grant degrees. We are also pursuing recognition of our course work from like-minded colleges and seminaries. THE CALENDAR AND THE UNIT OF CREDIT Rocky Mountain Bible College and Rocky Mountain Seminary operates on the semester basis. The academic year consists of two semesters of 15 weeks each. The semester hour, representing one class period of 50 minutes in length per week for one semester, is the unit of academic credit. For VA purposes, because we are not yet an accredited college, our hours are based upon actual clock hours instead of credit hours. In order to be considered full time with the Veterans Administration, a veteran must attend 18 clock hours per week - otherwise, that student will be considered 3/4 time or less. (See specific academic programs for required semester or clock hours.) |
