RMBC/RMS Students will . . .  

LEARN THE WORD as they

Recognize that the Bible is God’s perfect, inerrant Word, accurate and authori­tative in every issue or problem of life as they commit to a mindset of intellectual discovery in the Word of God.

Realize that the Scriptures are logical, accessible, and understandable as the intentional message of a loving God to His needful children.

Reason through the Bible using a grammatical, historical, and literal method of interpretation, applied through careful study and academic excellence with a view toward wisdom resulting in spiritual maturity.

BE ABLE TO TEACH THE TRUTH as they

Develop the skills of effectively communicating within their relevant cultural and interpersonal context what they are learning from the Word of God.

Demonstrate their ability to think clearly and critically.

Devote a portion of their time each week to their own spiritual life and values, and to active involvement in a local church or parachurch ministry.

Dedicate their lives to an ongoing lifestyle of evangelism and discipleship, no matter what their lifelong career or calling.

REACH THE WORLD as they

Are Equipped with skills, through a biblical worldview, necessary for effective ministry in their chosen field.

Evangelize the lost, in their context, through ongoing partnership with alumni, partner orga­nizations, churches and others with a kindred commitment to proclaiming the free-grace gospel of Jesus Christ.

Encourage the body of Christ through interpersonal relationships, conference speaking, church resources, Bible seminars, summer classes and other avenues of ongoing ministry.
