JUNIOR YEAR
This is generally a four-year course, covering 130 semester hours (or 1950 clock hours) for the Bachelor of Biblical Education. It is composed of both Biblical and general education courses. It functions in essentially two roles. The first role is that of foundational education for a vocational ministry. The second role is that it serves as preparation for graduate-level seminary work.

FALL SEMESTER - JUNIOR YEAR (TOTAL HOURS: 16)

OT 203: Old Testament Prophets (3 Hours)

An expositional study of pre-exilic, exilic, and post-exilic prophets (Isaiah-Malachi), with an emphasis on how the prophetic books fit into the framework of the Old Testament history.

TH 406: Church History (3 Hours)

A study of Christianity from the apostles to the 21st century, with a special emphasis on how various doctrines have been addressed at different periods in church history.

TH 411: Theological Systems (3 Hours)

A comparison of various systems of theology, with an emphasis on the development of doctrinal positions.

PM 607: Counseling (3 Hours)

A study of the Biblical basis and practice of counseling, with an emphasis on common counseling problems encountered in the church.

PM 605: Introduction to Missions (3 Hours)

A study of the Biblical basis for missions and the various missions agencies, methods, and aspects of cross-cultural ministry, with an emphasis to encourage the student to become personally involved in missions as a missionary or informed supporter of missions.

PM 602: Spiritual Life & Evangelism Practicum (1 Hour)

This course focuses the student on ministry observation.


SPRING SEMESTER - FRESHMAN YEAR (TOTAL HOURS: 16)

OT 208: Isaiah (3 Hours)

An expository study of the book of Isaiah, with a special emphasis on Eschatological & Christological passages.

NT 305: Romans (3 Hours)

An expository study of the book of Romans, with the special emphasis on grace, salvation by faith alone in Christ alone, and Christian living.

TH 407: World Religions & Cults (3 Hours)

A study of the history and beliefs of major world religions and selected cults and their relationship to the Christian faith.

CE 702: History & Philosophy of Christian Education (3 Hours)

A Biblical survey of religious education, with an emphasis on students developing their own philosophy of Christian education.

PM 606: Marriage & Family (3 Hours)

A course to help the student formulate a Biblical and practical approach to marriage and family ministry, with an emphasis on strategies and methods for dealing with today's marriage challenges and family issues.

PM 603: Spiritual Life & Evangelism Practicum (1 Hour)

This course focuses the student on ministry observations.
